The Process

  1. After submitting the details of the type of session you are looking for, we set up a time to meet. The meetup can be at a coffee shop, over the phone, or via Facetime/Zoom - whatever you feel comfortable with. I want to give you all the information about what you can expect from your session. It’s also a chance for us to get to know each other! After this meeting, I will send over the contract and invoice for your session to get you booked on my calendar.

  2. The big day arrives - the photoshoot where we talk, laugh, and have fun. I like to take my time - my goal during the session is to make you feel relaxed, happy, and comfortable. No matter which type of session you choose, I will capture all the precious memories and moments that you can look back on for years to come. 

  3. Two to three weeks after your session, we have an in-person viewing session where you also will have the option to order prints, custom albums, wall art, and other gifts. You will also get access to your private, online gallery, where you can download the images for your personal use.

 
 
 

 Frequently Asked Questions

I’m interested in purchasing “The Signature Session,” but I have three pets I would like to photograph. Can I add them to the session too?

Absolutely - the more, the merrier! As someone who grew up in a family with up to four animals in the house at a time, I know that you have a special bond with every one of them. You can include additional pets from the same household in your session for $30 each. The time spent at the session will increase accordingly as well.

Why do you have a “+ tax” in your packages?

I live in Texas, and our state government requires all business owners to charge sales tax. The current rate is 8.25%, and it applies to all my session offerings.

Can I jump in for a few photos during the session?

Yes, you can - your bond with your pet is extraordinary, and I would love to capture interactions between your pet(s) and you. On the other hand, I completely understand if you feel awkward posing in photos and don’t want to be in any. It’s entirely up to you!

What about traveling for a session? 

There is no travel charge if you live within the Dallas, Denton, or Arlington areas. Locations outside these listed areas will have an additional fee. Please fill out the contact form with your desired location and preferred dates to find out my availability.

What is the retainer fee?

The retainer fee is an amount of $200 that is due upon booking the session and is non-refundable. It secures your session date and time and is deducted from your total session cost. The remaining payment is due 72 hours before your session.

What about rescheduling? 

You pay the retainer fee to reserve a session date and time to cover rescheduling at my discretion. Reasons for rescheduling include inclement weather, illness, or sudden death in the family.

**Discounts are available for active military, veterans, first responders, animal shelter/rescue staff. Please let me know if you belong to one of these groups, and as soon as I see your official ID or documentation, I will apply a discount to your total cost.
